Laura and Joe: Glastonbury Boathouse Wedding
Laura and Joe got married at the Glastonbury Boathouse; a beautiful location with views of the Connecticut River. This venue offers lots of creative little spots for pictures. We used the dock, the fountain, and some of the pathways that lead to the stairs.
It was a hot July day with a prediction of rain. I made sure to pack my clear umbrellas which I bring to every photo shoot, my rain poncho, lens plastic covers, and extra paper towels. Laura was so prepared for rain on her wedding day that she bought matching yellow boots for her and her bridesmaids. Well, the prediction was wrong (insert eye roll here). We were blessed with a bit of a cloudy day in the morning but then the sunburst came through and everything cleared up.
A gorgeous sunset did not disappoint at the end of the night!
We headed out for the dock and spent about ten minutes capturing the magical pink sky. The whole event was such a happy celebration. Laura and Joe truly love each other and I wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
