Hillstead Museum Micro Wedding
Gabrielle and Matt had to scale down their wedding and proceeded to get married anyway. We started the day at The Farmington Inn & Suites by photographing getting ready. A pivotal moment was when Matt placed an Ipad on a chair so his parents could see the ceremony via Zoom. There were so many heartfelt moments as they were holding hands to say their vows from tears, hugs, and laughter. We then headed out to Hillstead Museum in Farmington for more photos of the family, bridal party, and bride-groom portraits. The grounds of the museum are stunning with manicured lawns, colorful blooms, and rustic barn doors. It started to rain but that did not stop us from continuing to rock our photoshoot. I used overhangs and the lush trees to protect the guests from getting drenched. Matt and Gabrielle were troopers braving the rain and all the other obstacles this year had to throw them. That is a testament to true love.
